Heysel Remembered

Former Juventus stars Michel Platini and Ian Rush joined thousands of Liverpool fans on Tuesday in an emotional ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of the Heysel Stadium tragedy. The fans staged a brief ceremony as a mark of respect to the 39 fans who died nearly two decades ago.

The Yankees alone will pay their pitchers close to $100 million this year. Carl Pavano will make nearly $10 million. The average pitcher salary is $2.3 million.
