Soccer Betting
VIP Sports Group offers betting lines on a variety of English, European, South American and US
soccer leagues. We generally offer lines on weekly European leagues, English leagues, and some South American leagues.
We cover the UEFA Cup, Champions League, World Cup, and many domestic cups such as the FA Cup in England.
These lines should give you a good idea of what prices to expect at our sportsbooks - although lines may of course
vary slightly at each one.
The rules below should give you a general idea of conditions that apply at each sportsbook - but please
read the rules associated with betting at each one when you sign up.
Bets on the outcome of a match will be decided in normal time only.
This includes two halves of play and any time the referee compensates for
injuries and other stoppages. It does not include periods of extra time or
penalty shootouts.
If a match is suspended before the game is finished and not completed the
same day, bets on the outcome of the match are void and all stakes are returned.
Moneyline with a Draw (tie): These are the most common markets and odds used for socce betting.
The bettor has three choices, team A, team B and the draw. If you bet on
a team and the game is a draw after 90 minutes of play, you lose the bet. If you bet
on the draw and a team wins after 90 minutes of play, you lose the bet. If the game ends with a score
of 1-1 you win the bet to the applicable odds. The draw in an average game tends to be
around the +220 mark. Therefore a USD 100 bet on the draw will win you USD 220 and your stake returned.
Total Goals Betting: When betting on game totals (over/under) this only
includes goals scored in regulation time i.e. 90 minutes plus injury time and
stoppage time). Extra time and penalty shootouts are not included.
NOTE : 2nd half soccer bets count for the full 90 minute game result.
Example:
2nd half wager on team "A". Team "A" has to win the
match.
2nd half wager on team "B". Team "B" has to win the
match.
2nd half wager on the draw. The match has to end in a draw at the end of
90 min of play.
